Challenges
World Vision is one of the most impactful humanitarian organizations, making a tremendous difference worldwide. In 2022 alone, they responded to 59 global emergencies, provided food to 10.3 million people, and helped 3 million gain access to clean water. Yet, countless vulnerable children in developing countries still need support.
I designed this pamphlet to reach a wider audience, combining clear information with a layout that evokes empathy. The visuals and messaging highlight the 'Sponsor a Child' program and 'Gift Catalog,' making it easy for people to understand the cause and feel inspired to take action.
My Approach
By sponsoring a child or donating to a vulnerable area, donors can significantly improve the quality of life for those in need. To convey the impact of their contributions, I aimed to visually represent the stark contrast before and after a donation. Using Adobe Firefly, I created a setting of a third-world country with a sad African boy, then enhanced it in Photoshop to depict a transformed scene with a joyful child, symbolizing the positive change that donations bring.
Result
For this project, I designed a pamphlet for World Vision to raise awareness and encourage donations through their 'Sponsor a Child' program and 'Gift Catalog.' The design combines clear information and empathetic visuals, showcasing the positive impact of donations. By using Adobe Firefly and Photoshop, I created before-and-after scenes to highlight how contributions can transform the lives of children in vulnerable regions.
