Cubie Tarot is a set of Major Arcana cards inspired by traditional tarot. Unlike many decks that highlight the potential negative aspects of card meanings, my deck, featuring my iconic Cubie mascot, focuses on delivering positive messages. Each card is illustrated with a fun and playful style, bringing a lighthearted energy to the tarot experience.

Challenges
One of the biggest challenges in ensuring the cards maintain a bright and positive aesthetic was illustrating the Devil card. Transforming such a traditionally dark symbol into something uplifting while preserving its deeper meaning required careful thought and creativity.
Approach
The right side showcases the process behind my illustrations. I focused on simplifying the characters' expressions to make them appear less intimidating, while still conveying intricacy through detailed clothing and background art. This balance allows the cards to feel approachable without losing their complexity.
I selected Lofty Goals as the font for each card, as its hand-written style complements the playful feel of the illustrations. I also carefully positioned the card names to create an interaction between the typography and the artwork. For the Roman numerals, I chose Charter to give the cards a classic, elegant touch.

Packaging
Many users found it challenging to remove the full stack of cards, so I designed the cardholder with a hole for easier access. The inside of the packaging doubles as a tarot guide, allowing users to quickly reference the meaning of each card.
Final Look
For this project, I designed a pamphlet for World Vision to raise awareness and encourage donations through their 'Sponsor a Child' program and 'Gift Catalog.' The design combines clear information and empathetic visuals, showcasing the positive impact of donations. By using Adobe Firefly and Photoshop, I created before-and-after scenes to highlight how contributions can transform the lives of children in vulnerable regions.
